41 Great Years.

● A “Mobility Walk” raised over $700 for Guide Dogs for the Blind. About 100 students walked a total of 3,740 kms around the school-circuit. ● A luncheon and entertainment for 80 senior citizens. The meal was provided by the Home Economic classes and staff, whilst musical entertainment was presented by students of the Recorder Group, the String Ensemble, the MHS Band and the MHS Singers. ● A Fashion Parade and Form level socials raised vital funds to assist an ex-student requiring heart surgery in America. ● Annual ski-camp to Mt.Buller for 19 students. This was an adventure –type program in snow skills, snow survival and community living. ● The practical component of the new Pre-Driver Education course was conducted in Shepparton with 31 students. ● 17 sporting championships were won, including an All-High-Schools Championship in Cross-country running. ● The musical production Red Sea Jazz and Variety Program with a cast of over 100, performed over two evenings in August. ● Retention of subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Pure and Applied Maths made possible by enrolment of 21 Malaysian students in Year 12. ● Woodwork students from forms 9,10 & 11 under the supervision of Mr.W.Murdoch, made an outstanding collection of toy’s for local charities.
