● Tin Pan Ali a flawless show that was both exciting and sorrowful. “ Initially Tin Pan Ali was a dream, but in the end it was a burning ‘energy’ inside us that was released at full pelt on every performance.” ● First Monash Fete organize by the Enrichment Group Gatherings. The “Egg Fete” raised over $2000, with students having a direct say in where the money was spent. It was an “Eggsellent” effort with EGG groups responsible for organising, procuring goods, serving the stalls and anything else required. ● The Student Representative Council ( SRC) a new concept for the school. Two elected members from each year level meet once a week. Decisions are made about relevant matters concerning students. The suggestions box in the foyer has allowed students to put forward their ideas. ● The Parent Resource Group established in 1983,meets twice a term to discuss topics of general interest. Policy requests are forwarded to the School Council for consideration. One of the aims is to support the Principal and the staff when requested. ● Both Summer and Winter sports programs were successful with 45 teams competing, gaining 30 high achievements. Outstanding achievement by the Girls Intermediate Softball team, All High runners- up. ● EGGs groups have gathered momentum this year, with the musical and magazine largely organized by EGGs groups. “ EGGs”cursions to the Botanical Gardens, a tour around Melbourne city icons and a picnic at Sherbrooke Forest.
